Four teams remain in the hunt of Super Bowl LIII: The Kansas City Chiefs (#1 AFC), New England Patriots (#2 AFC), New Orleans Saints (#1 NFC), and Los Angeles Rams (#2 NFC). In what has been an ultra-competitive season in the NFL, the four highest scoring offenses throughout the season are still fighting. Even though all four teams have their strengths and weaknesses, only one team can walk away on February 3rd with the Lombardi Trophy in hand. Will the youth of Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes or Jared Goff triumph? Or will it be the experience of former Super-Bowl Champions Tom Brady or Drew Brees? Here is a breakdown of what to expect this coming weekend.

Life is everything you ever want it to be when you're young. Not until you grow older and realize that sometimes what you've always dreamed of doing wasn't your reality anymore, but that doesn't mean it cant be a new dream and an even better reality.

TALLAHASSEE – Wow. What a game. In hindsight, I can honestly say I did not see a victory coming. I thought Virginia Tech had a chance to win the game, but I clearly didn’t give Justin Fuente and the Hokies enough credit from the jump. But let me tell you, I have never been more proud to say I was wrong.

First, as a patron who actually attended the week one college football bout, let me give credit to where credit is due. Florida State has incredible fans (for the most part, despite one or two bad eggs in...

It was Memorial Day 2016 and instead of doing what I might normally be doing on a Colorado Memorial Day - playing in my High School’s baseball tournament or going up into the mountains with my family to camp, I found myself sitting in a large U-Haul truck in front of the only house I’d remembered my whole life.  All of my family’s possessions were now in this large truck which ironically had a large Moose painted on it and I was sitting in the front passenger’s seat next to my dad as we were about to drive away forever.  I posted something on one of my social media accounts saying goodbye and thanks to Colorado and how it had been great to live here and all of that, but how I was moving on for t...

With UVA’s season finally upon us, I wanted to look at what this team has to offer this season. The University of Virginia football program has not been much of a threat within the college football world, and while this year may not be any different they have significant strides towards improvement.  This is evident from UVA’s horrendous 2-10 record during the 2016 season and then turning that around and going to a bowl game in the 2017 season (although they got crushed, reaching the bowl game was a victory in and of itself).

Since the departure of Mike London, Coach Bronco Mendenhall has made numerous improvements in not only the recruiting of talent but also their development. Mendenhal...

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

On behalf of the Rise Up Foundation I want to say thank you to everyone who follows my page and continues to support my mission! Due to the football season, there will not be as much activity as before, although posts will keep coming!

As most of you know, Kevin Saunders, my close friend, has impacted me in many ways. This new video shows our relationship and a few messages we wanted to share with the world. This quote exemplifies Kevin and his life, as well as what I aspire to represent.

A Rivalry Renewed: Virginia Tech and Florida State – How does each team stack up heading into Doak Campbell Stadium on Labor Day?

Those who know me well know that there are few things in this life that I love more than college football – so when Billy Shmurda called me up and asked me to write a preview for the Labor Day match-up between the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Florida State Seminoles, I immediately jumped at the opportunity.

First let me preface this piece of writing with the following disclaimer: this will not be traditional journalism. Not really my style – at all. I’m not out here to compete with any college football beat writers or any mainstream media outlets. You guys keep doing yo...
