Hate, what’s the definition? Everyone’s always quick to state that someone’s hating on them, but only because it sounds cool. When you’re doing something right and someone still finds something to pick about, it’s clear hate. On the other hand hate can come from misunderstanding! In fact, I believe most hate comes from misunderstanding. #Calcknowledge
When you're a child you find childish things amusing. The reason we age is so we leave childish amusement in our immature ages. You're only entertained by your level of maturity. By no means am I telling anyone to not laugh and enjoy your everyday life, but with age you have to separate adult from child. #Calcknowledge
See, there's two different types of people in our world. The first type of person is someone who talks daily about what they want to do, constantly bringing up their dreams and aspirations. The second type of person is someone who does both talk about their dreams, but at the same time, also chasing them. Don't be the person who grows old and wishes they chased their dreams, give it all you have now and live life knowing you turned your dreams into reality. #Calcknowledge
Competition. Most people thrive in being better then their peers just because. By all means, be the best you can be but never at the expensive keeping others down. We focus so much on being better then someone that we lose focus on the point which is helping everyone be better.
What's the best part about experiencing hard times? Not a trick question at all. I was once asked that and I actually got mad that my adviser even asked me that silly question. Hard times typically make or break a person. Why? Because the average person just see's hard times as a period of time that will one day pass over while wondering why the hard time is hovering over them. I then began to understand that the harder things get the more lessons there are to be learned. #Calcknowledge
There I was again, expecting other people to handle MY business. We all occasionally reach that point where we feel like we have too much on our plate but still want to get everything we want done. A set deadline approached quickly, I relied on my friend to come through with his word I had no doubt I was in good hands. When my friend fell through on his word I was left out of luck missing my deadline. Yes, I was very upset and angry but it taught me to only rely on myself with certain matters. W...
Take advantage of all of your opportunities, you never know when they will happen again. Things in fact may come to those who wait but only things left by those who hustle for it. Often finding myself being content saying to myself "I'll do it next time" caused me to miss out on once in a lifetime opportunities that I just knew would present itself to me again. Don't miss out on your golden opportunity. #Calcknowledge
There I was again wondering why my name always came up when I wasn't around. Wondering why I was being a subject in the daily gossip. Although it's humanly natural to feel upset or confused as to why your name is lingering around while you're not even in their presence. This is in fact a big achievement for you. Think of it like this, if someone is talking about you when you're not around they're probably wanting to be the person you are which is actually quite flattering. Don’t get it twisted t...
Why won't you better your surroundings if you really want to be great? That's what I was always asked. The question never made any sense to me at first. As a child, would you pay anyone attention who is basically telling you to leave your friends because you want to be "great"? I know the average kid would totally ignore that and go along with their day. However, as life went on I came to realize that expanding your surroundings is key in elevating your mind. The saying never meant leave your fr...
